For conducting this study, private undergraduate engineering institutions situated in five districts of Himachal Pradesh were selected. Data were collected with help of self-developed checklist and a questionnaire for students. Content analysis technique along with percentage analysis was used for analysis of data. The findings of the study revealed that a number of issues related to infrastructural facilities<\/em><em> as well as lack of qualified teaching faculty are in existence that need due attention in privately managed institutions.
