Abstract
Job satisfaction is the collection of tasks and responsibilities regularly assigned to one person, while a job is a group of positions, which involves essentially the same duties, responsibility, skill and knowledge”. Job satisfaction has some relation with the mental health of the people. It spreads the goodwill of the organization. Job satisfaction reduces absenteeism, labor turnover and accidents. Job satisfaction increases employee’s morale, productivity, etc.,. It can be achieved only through motivation commitment with each other. But most of the employees working in the companies suffered from many working problems and their job dissatisfied. Job satisfaction is a highly subjective feeling of the benefits that one derives from the job. It clearly specifies the variable which critically linked to the perception. If the job satisfaction is to improve, the workers perception in the job characteristics, supervision and the industries as a whole must be positive. The present study is focusing on the job satisfaction of the employees working in subiksha Mill pvt ltd in Dindigul District.
