Abstract
Radio Vishnu 90.4 is a Community Radio which helps not only public around the college but also students of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society. This research investigates to improve the lives of students as well as people living at Bhimavaram, West Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. Radio Vishnu 90.4 is a catalyst for local community engagement and student development during the college phase. Radio Vishnu is a non- profitable community radio that fosters the grass-root participation of locals and hence entertaining them with various programs that include unique categories of people. The essence of the story is that the students of Vishnu Society serve as the backbone to the Radio community and engage audience with their creativity, charm and voices. Hence it ensures the overall development of young minds making them broad minded. The programs are tuned in such a way that all age groups enjoy them.
