Abstract

Technology integration into education has become crucial in the twenty first century influencing the creation of an innovative model in education called techno-pedagogy. The importance of techno-pedagogies as a core competency for teachers negotiating the complexity of contemporary learning contexts is examined in this abstract.

Digital pedagogy is the combination of technology and theoretical education with the goal of improving student learning, encouraging critical thinking and developing digital literacy. In order to maximize educational achievements, it promotes the seamless integration of technology incorporating interactive multimedia resources promoting collaboration on online platforms and adopting adaptive learning technologies which are essential elements of techno-pedagogies.

Besides this, it assists teachers to personalize their lessons to each student taking into account their varied learning preferences and include students in hands-on enquiry-based learning with the help of these tools. Techno-pedagogies provide the tools to the teachers which are needed to properly navigate the rapidly changing digital landscape. They provide learners with the necessary skills in the digital age by promoting digital citizenship, online security and responsible consumption of information.

Digital pedagogies are an evolving set of abilities that enable educators to effectively utilize emerging technologies in educational environments. They also encourage educators to promote innovation, experimentation and ongoing professional growth by establishing a culture of lifelong learning pedagogy, highlighting their mutually beneficial relationship.
