Abstract

The term “gamification” in education describes the incorporation of gaming features and design concepts into the educational environment. Gamification has improved academic achievement and student motivation within the last five years. The first benefit of this kind of training is that it can make learning more enjoyable for students. Gamification can help children in Engagement, imagination skills and who are undermotivated and performing poorly academically in the classroom. Including gaming aspects in the classroom could motivate pupils to study because of the variety of difficulties and rewards that these components offer.

The quick development of new technology has enormous potential to enhance the learning process. Gamification is a popular and enjoyable teaching strategy that makes it simpler for students to learn through competition and entertainment and keeps them motivated for longer in the classroom. Maximising student participation in the classroom, encouraging healthy competition, and making learning enjoyable are the main objectives. Researcher talked about gamification in this article and how it affects students’ engagement and imagination. Gamification has the potential to enhance students’ academic performance as well as their engagement and imagination. The main goals of gamification are to enhance certain abilities, introduce objectives that give learning a purpose, engage students, optimize learning, support behavior change, imagination and socialize (Knutas et al. 2014; Krause et al. 2015; Dichev and Dicheva 2017; Borges et al. 2013). If there are positive effects of gamification also there are some issues and challenges it will be sort out with proper planning and implications.
