Abstract

The Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach involves challenging real-world issues that are addressed by using PBL as a tool for teaching and learning. The impact of PBL on adolescents’ cognitive, social and emotional development is examined in this journal article. The article divulges how PBL might enhance adolescents’ critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and motivation and mould them for future academic and to overcome professional challenges and barriers. It is an instructional method where educators can create more engaging and effective learning environments that foster the various needs of adolescent learners, and finally enhance a more inclusive and successful educational experience both inside and outside the classrooms.
